YETI Panga Backpack

The Panga Backpack was an evolution of the Panga Duffle bags. Understanding the user needs for a dedicated backpack with easy access and an ergonomic carry led to the creation of a fully waterproof backpack. I led the design and development of this product from idea, sketch, CAD, tech pack and in-factory development. It features a fully RF welded ThickSkin Shell, SideKick Dry compatible HitchPoint Grid, and comfortable form designed with a with thoracic curve and ergonomic shoulder straps. This product remains one of YETI’s top selling products and has won the GearLab “Best Overall Dry Bag” in 2025.
